    After seeing the great reviews during Check Please show, I could not stop telling people about the place, and that I was planning to go this weekend. I did go to dinner with my daughter, who was home from college today (2/25). We got to the place and it was busy, but we were seated within 10 minutes after our arrival in the middle of the restaurant. We waited 5 minutes to be acknowledge by a waitress, then 5 minutes for one of the staff to come and ask us for a favor. She asked if she can move us to the table in the back to accommodate a bigger party. During this time, I am still excited to be there,so I hesitantly agreed because I did not like the space that she was pointing to. However, it didn’t take much time after that to start seeing the horrible service my daughter and I were receiving.
    In summary, the waitress forgot which appetizer we order, so she had to come and ask after a couple of minutes, and after she brought the appetizer and took our order we did not see her until she brought the check. My order was wrong, so I was not able to let anyone know because they were so busy serving the Caucasian clients. Yes, I mentioned this statements because I am Latina (and the only client during this time) and I felt discriminated as I sat there and watched what was going on. We were never asked if we wanted more water, needed anything else, interest in dessert, absolutely nothing. When waitress realized that I was not happy with the service she removed the $3 appetizer (by the way that forgot to bring the green sauce). This is the first time I experience a terrible restaurant service, and what it is more sad for me is that these are my people. It was also the first time I did not leave a tip. I will not go back to this place again, and will make sure to share this experience with my circle.
